Hi everybody we have been super busy here at Ben Q. we are updating like cazy for next year. First is our blog we are switching to Squarespace for our blog. Thanks so much wordpress it’s been great. But anyways here’s the new link.

Well, this is a first! Baby Syndi beat us to the punch! She was born last Tuesday. We really thought we could show these off before your arrival, but enjoy the beautiful pregnancy memories mom and dad. Love, the Q’s.

Chris and Erika are having there first child and it’s going to be a girl. WoooHooo! Zemi will have somebody to tech on how to use a camera. Just kidding We are so excited for them its really a life changing with the first one. Now I can’t even walk out the door without Zemi crying :(. “Zemi one day you can come with daddy…right now just use photoshop for daddy”..LOL jk. Chris and Erika its going to be a blast with your new coming. Love you guys and may the Lord bless your family.
ChrysQ and I had so much fun yesterday at our maternity shoot. This time I got to sit back with the father downstairs and relax while ChrysQ did all the work. Here are a few of the shots I worked on from this funny session. We have a couples maternity session with them coming up too. They want modern, artsy…. right up my alley
We have a friend who we are very excited for!! Destiny is a very close friend of ours from Florida and she came to us and told us that she is going to launch her new Gospel CD in the next couple of months this year and of course she asked if we can get some shoot done for her CD cover…and the Q’s were “of course” bring it WooHoo! I have been trying to get everything set in my goals for benqphotography from marketing, investing and balancing in life and business. Had some get meetings with great vendors for the future of benqphotography. Got some really great feedback on whats to come here. We are very excited on whats God is doing and what God has done in my life with photography.
Now for some insight from Gospel Artist Sernerick Greer who has a new cd coming out this year. He came to me and want something very fresh and just popping images for his look and I just knew what I wanted to do for him and I was just very please on the out come from this shoot.
It was a huge honor for us to shoot portraits for Hye-Young. Who is one of the greatest pianist I have ever heard in my life. I cant wait for what God has in store for you. We love family sessions! Especially when the setting is so gorgeous! We had the honor of taking the portraits for the Tahahn family this weekend. They have two of the most beautiful girls ever (don’t worry Zemira, you’re still first on our list!!!) This was shot at the immaculate Gaylord Texan which is decorated for the season this time of year. The girls behaved so awesomely and the parents look pretty spiffy.
